The NGOs involved in the DARE Programme in Moldova participated at the training on the topic “Organizing the activity of peer support groups”. The training was organized within the premises of Caritas Moldova headquarters on 19th and 20th of April, 2018.
The trainer, Leonid Nikolaev, from SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine, coached the participants on methods and skills needed for organizing the activity of peer support groups according to their needs.
The main objectives of the training are: to teach the techniques of launching a peer support group, to present the possibilities and resources of peer support groups and to form algorithms of receiving feedback during work with clients.
At the training participated 16 social workers and teachers from Caritas Moldova, Diaconia and Regina Pacis.
