For the ninth consecutive year, Caritas Moldova is launching the campaign "Help me get my school bag ready" a gesture that has become a tradition in supporting children who are starting their educational journey in difficult conditions. Between August 1 and 20, 2025, we aim to support over 500 children from socially vulnerable families by providing them with school bags fully equipped with the necessary supplies to step confidently into the world of knowledge. For many of these children, a new notebook or a working pen is not a given, but a luxury. That is why Caritas Moldova is calling on all those who believe in education, fairness, and equal opportunities to join the campaign and make a concrete contribution to preparing the future of a generation.
What are we aiming for?

Preventing school dropouts
Without a backpack, notebooks, or pencils, a child risks dropping out of school. We provide them with basic resources so they don't have to give up on their dreams. -
Improving learning conditions
A simple set of school supplies can mean a huge leap forward in educational progress. -
Motivating and encouraging children
A new school bag, a colorful pencil case, and beautiful notebooks can transform the start of the school year into a moment of joy and hope.

Donations are being collected until August 20, Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., at the Caritas Moldova headquarters in Chișinău, 30/1 Gheorghe Asachi Street (across from the Police Academy).
