News of 2022! The Caritas Moldova Charitable Foundation is (re) accredited (for the next 5 years) to carry out telemedicine services on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

Did you know that? Every two months, 60 vulnerable people receive food, personal hygiene packages, diapers, clothes and medicines as needed. People receiving this Community aid are over 65, with limited living possibilities, socially isolated, in need of home care: the elderly, the chronically ill, people in bed, people with disabilities, people in the terminal stages of life their.

The Caritas Moldova Charitable Foundation offered them the hope of a better tomorrow, without much worries and without loneliness. Because with exceptional emotional strength and listening power are the nurses behind the curtain, who teach these elderly people to smile and motivate the beneficiaries to fight the pain and trouble. Many vulnerable people face life in the cold and hunger, and nurses provide daily emotional support, listening, compassion, treatment advice, and medical help. Although the situation of life is serious, the beneficiaries have this radiance in their eyes which is called - the lust for life.

The MOH project aims to improve the health of vulnerable people through integrated quality care services in Stăuceni commune. This includes a range of home care services from trained mobile teams: telemedicine medical consultations in cooperation with medical centers; the provision of food packages, hygiene items and personal protective equipment to meet the basic needs of the beneficiaries; as well as communicating public health risks to raise awareness of Covid-19 protection measures.

The SAFE (SAFE Assistance for Elderly) project is a project specializing in home health care and medical and social care. Currently this service is offered in 5 Medical and Social Centers: Chisinau, Stircea (Glodeni district), Rascov (Camenca district), Ribnita.
