On the eve of winter holidays, Regina Pacis Foundation and Caritas Moldova Charity Foundation will hold the 5th Christmas campaign "Warming Heart" on December 21 and 22, 2019.

The aim of the campaign is to support people in difficulty, especially children and elderly people, by collecting food in the chains of Chisinau stores. For two days, more than 200 volunteers will encourage people to buy and give away perishable food to make their tables happy for those who need it. The food will be donated in specially designed baskets when leaving the stores.

Ilie Zabica, Director of the Regina Pacis Foundation: "We encourage people to participate in the Christmas campaign and provide food assistance to those who are on the verge of living. From these donations, free lunches will be prepared during the year for children and elderly people who come to the social canteens of the Regina Pacis Foundation. "

Edward Lucaci, President of Caritas Moldova: "We invite everyone who wants to contribute to our campaign to join us. These individual donations are not only a simple act of donation, but also a way in which our kindness and generosity can give normal people a chance to become less fortunate than we are.

The product collection will be placed in 22 stores of LINELLA, METRO, FIDESCO, FOURCHETTE, VELMART and GREEN HILLS MARKET chains.

During the campaign 2018 there were collected 12 tons of foodstuffs, of which more than 54 thousand hot meals were prepared in the social cafeterias of Regina Pacis Fund, where 180 elderly people and children in difficulty are eaten daily, and 6 tons were collected by Caritas Moldova, which were distributed in 741 packages and distributed throughout the Republic of Moldova to those in need.

The Christmas campaign WARM A HEART is organized with the support of Chisinau Municipal Council of Youth and store chains: LINELLA, METRO, FIDESCO, FOURCHETTE, VELMART and GREEN HILLS MARKET.
