Jesus said to his disciples: "Let the children come to me and do not stop them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to those who are like them!" (Matthew 19, 14). Following the Savior's example, the "Caritas Moldova" Charitable Foundation implements the "Caring" project, through four educational programs, carried out in the Care and Support Centers in Tiraspol, Rașcov, Petropavlovca and Zârnești. Through this project, over 400 children and young people, from both banks of the Dniester, benefit from learning and development opportunities, which contributes to reducing their vulnerability to poverty.

Following a visit to the Rașcov Center, within the oldest Roman Catholic church in the Republic of Moldova, dating from the 18th century and dedicated to Saint Caietan, the "Caritas Moldova" team had the opportunity to convince themselves of new to the usefulness and necessity of the project. Thanks to the participation in the center's activities, more than 40 children and young people develop their skills in the art of handicraft, making beaded bracelets, weaving backpacks, purses and other objects. The beneficiaries of the project learn to work in a team, to understand themselves and others. Guided by caring teachers, children develop their skills and talents with access to food, shelter and education in a safe and clean environment.
