For Caritas Moldova, World Day of the Sick is not just a date on the calendar. It is a daily reality. Through our social and medical projects, nurses and social workers make dozens of trips every day to visit lonely, sick, bedridden grandparents who lack family support.

Each visit means:

• a bandage changed,
• a treatment administered,
• a conversation that eases loneliness,
• a hot lunch offered with respect.

In many cases, our team is the only constant presence in these people's lives.
In the spirit of this day, we remind ourselves that care is not just about medical intervention. It is about dignity, presence, and hope.

• Offer a telemedicine consultation - 200 MDL
• Provide a hot lunch - 50 MDL
