"Magic of Charity" is a complex event organized within the Christmas Campaign "Slippers for those without them", which aims to create a realm of beauty, joy and dedication. Throughout the day of December 11, 2021, there will be several activities for children and a Christmas Fair where you can find various Christmas decorative items, handmade greeting cards, decorated candles, gingerbread and lemon gingerbread, plus many other delicious surprises carefully prepared by our team of volunteers. The CARITAS MOLDOVA Charitable Foundation will be present at the Fair presenting the works of the children from the Care and Support Centers.
The program of activities for the "Magic of Charity 2021" event is as follows:
10:00 - Opening of the Christmas Fair in the courtyard of the "Casa Providenței" Foundation, 1 Mușatinilor Street. At the fair you will find a series of articles made by hand by the foundation's volunteers, but also by other partners of our organization. Also, during the fair, MEG teas will be offered for sale - organic teas, which can also be found in the food-court area, where you can warm up with a hot tea.
11:00 - 12:30 - The first culinary workshop for primary school children, during which they will prepare Christmas gingerbread, glaze it with chocolate, and at the end, beautifully wrapped, will give it as a gift to loved ones. The maximum number of children for a workshop is 15. The groups will be formed on the day of the event according to the principle - first come first served. The workshop will take place in the Foundation canteen in compliance with all hygiene regulations. The participation price for a child is 200 lei.
11:30 - 16:00 - Opening of the creative area inside the Foundation, where you will find:
Christmas card making workshops - the duration of a workshop is 30-40 minutes, depending on the child's creative ability. An area of creation will be set up inside the Foundation, where children, under the guidance of volunteers, will make Christmas cards according to pre-established patterns. No prior groups will be formed at this workshop, and the children will be able to get involved in the activity at any time during the interval provided for this activity. The participation price per workshop is 50 lei.
Plaster figurines - the place where children can relax by coloring plaster figures, which they will later take home.
Face painting - will offer any design of your choice, quality, which is guaranteed to delight children! Only special non-allergenic face painting materials will be used.
The cost of participating in any of the activities of the creative area is 50 lei per activity.
14:00 - 15:30 - Second culinary workshop for primary school children. The activities and conditions for participation are identical to the first workshop.
17:00 Closing of the event.
In the courtyard of the Foundation will be arranged a food-court area, where you will find MEG tea, coffee, spring, hot pies, and other delicacies prepared in advance by the team of volunteers.
There will also be Santa Claus, who will catch children in his activities.
