On 12 December, Caritas Internationalis will celebrate its 70th anniversary.

Seven decades have passed since the Constituent Assembly of Confederation met in Rome from 12 to 14 December 1951. At that time there were only 13 Caritas members in the Confederation, while today there are 162 operating in 200 countries and territories. Since its inception, Caritas Internationalis has been entrusted with the mission of promoting the primacy of the human person at the centre of all human activities.

This year Caritas Internationalis want to mark anniversary by bearing witness to the work of charity and to give voice to the voiceless in the differ parts of the work.

For this reason, Caritas Moldova had organised seven webinars, each dedicated to one of the seven regions of the Confederation: Africa, North America, Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, and Oceania.
