Children's Day at Caritas Moldova

Children's Day at Caritas Moldova

On the occasion of the feast of June 1, F.B. Caritas Moldova supported the Ukrainian people by organizing a fun and educational event for 50 children, whose home they are - the #caritasmoldova refugee centers.

After we all got to know each other, the first educational activity was to make a summer t-shirt, creative and colorful. The skilled volunteers of YOUNGCaritasMoldova coordinated this activity excellently and helped the children. The process was very fun and the children styled the clothes with great accuracy.

50 children were caressed by our volunteers YOUNGCaritasMoldova who patiently and skillfully created drawings on their faces, fulfilling all their wishes. On this holiday, they all became characters from their favorite story.

They all made a confetti toy that brings the joy of the holiday and the maximum joy. Certainly these intense emotions will never be forgotten, and the 50 children now housed in the #caritasmoldova refugee centers, have discovered a new home and a new family.

The holiday program also included music, dances and merry competitions to develop a competitive sense, cognitive processes in order to promote a healthy lifestyle. The moderators of this program were hardworking volunteers. The centers were beautifully decorated for children to enjoy in the refugee centers.

And how without gifts, because it's worth it! At the end each child received a delicious ice cream, a plush toy, a coloring book, a ready-made T-shirt and a group or individual photo.

ATTENTION! On this day, in the refugee centers, 50 children received vouchers to buy clothes from a local textile manufacturer - a gift from Caritas Moldova.

In collaboration with the Charity Foundation "Casa ProvidenČ›ei" and FIDES European Education Center, under the tutelage of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Chisinau. The activities are funded by Caritas Luxembourg, Luxembourg Development & Aid, Caritas Germany, Caritas Slovenia and Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
