On November 4, our team went to Soroca to visit our vocational students of Roma origin. We continue to cooperate with Caritas International Belgium through the Reintegration by Literacy Project, which involves the provision of literacy courses for Roma adults. Throughout the course they receive a financial incentive to pursue education. Ideally, at the end of our courses they would be further integrated into Moldovan society.
During the second part of our trip, we stopped at the Community Multifunctional Center for children “Împreună”. The center provides shelter, food, education and leisure for vulnerable children and children of refugees. Our team has provided the center with essential supplies and discussed further needs for the future.
Caritas Moldova will do its best to improve the lives of the most vulnerable people in Sorocan community!
