Why are we making this change?
If you're wondering what inspired us, we have several logical reasons—and one emotional (the last one):

• Distancing from unwanted associations (political):
  The logo that served us from 1995 until today, with its predominantly red color, created confusion, as it was associated with certain political parties. However, as it has always been and will continue to be: Caritas Moldova does not associate itself with any political party of any color.

• A modern visual language that reflects our young team:
  An updated logo reflects the organization's evolution and how we better respond to the new needs of the community. It's a sign that we keep up with the times and adapt to new challenges.

• 30 years of Caritas Moldova – the perfect moment for change:
  After three decades of activity, a new logo comes to mark this important milestone. It symbolizes the organization's maturity and desire to adapt while preserving its core values.

What has changed?

If you look at the two images side by side (the old logo and the new one), you’ll notice big differences but also continuities. Our old logo accompanied us for three decades, symbolizing stability and tradition. However, the central cross remains a key element in the new logo, now surrounded by four hearts. These represent our core values:

• Love – the main reason Caritas Moldova exists;
• Faith – which gives us strength to move forward;
• Hope – which we bring to the vulnerable;
• Kindness – which guides all our actions.

And here’s a secret:
Through our new visual identity, we pay homage to Moldova’s authentic culture by integrating elements inspired by the traditional blouse – the "ia." Now, under the international Caritas umbrella, we bring forth symbols that define our cultural identity. This is a statement to the world that we are here—for you and for the future!

A new look, but the same Caritas:
The logo has changed, but our hearts remain the same: dedicated, full of compassion, and determined to continue our 30-year mission. Founded in 1995 by Bishop Anton Coșa, Caritas Moldova has become a symbol of Christian love and solidarity.

So, we invite you to join us on this new journey, to follow our activities, and to spread our message of love and solidarity. Whether you are old friends or new ones, you are always welcome to write the history of Caritas Moldova together with us.
