Today, 11 February, we mark the World Day of the Sick, a moment of reflection and solidarity with all those who face physical and emotional suffering. Caritas Moldova, through concrete actions of support, has been at the side of vulnerable people, offering them material and spiritual help.
On this day, 15 families in need received vouchers for food, medicines and clothes, as well as food parcels to ease their daily burden. Also, the elderly from Chisinau and Stârcea, beneficiaries of the SAFE project, received medical equipment to improve their quality of life and give them more comfort.
In addition to material help, we joined in prayer at the Roman-Catholic Parish ‘Divine Providence’ in Chisinau, where the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick was celebrated. This prayer was offered to the faithful who are facing illness and in need of spiritual comfort.
For Caritas Moldova, every life deserves more, and through gestures of compassion and concrete support, we aim to be at the side of those who are most in need. On this special day, we renew our commitment to bring light and hope where suffering shadows the lives of the most vulnerable.
Thank you to all who support our mission!
