It has been 27 years since that distant May 10, 1995, when, through the will and efforts of His Holiness Anton CoÈ™a, the foundations of the “Caritas Moldova” Charitable Foundation were laid, whose purpose was, is and will be to show through deed, as the Holy Scriptures urge, that "Deus caritas est - God is love" (Jn 4:17).

The person with the problem may feel more and more isolated. She may think that others cannot understand or help her.

Between May 10 and 15 (until 12:00) we collect letters with the dreams of children from needy families. This year and the dream of your child, grandson, neighbor, acquaintance can become a reality through our campaign! Of great importance are the dreams of refugee children whose childhood was suddenly ruined by the war. They all deserve a Happy Children's Day with fulfilled dreams.

Motherhood is synonymous with an abundance of love, nourishment and comfort for many people. But when it comes to the mental health of mothers, there’s much more to the picture. Shame, guilt, depression (including postpartum depression), and overall mental and physical exhaustion are  also common aspects of motherhood that many moms struggle to recognize or discuss

Body image is a complex thing, closely related to mental health and affected by so many things around us - people, places, images, culture and the list goes on. The important thing is to understand what does not affect your body image, for better or worse. Let's pay attention to what helps us maintain a healthy body image, to counterbalance the useless effects that come into our daily lives. In this way, we can take positive action and make informed choices that will benefit our health and well-being in the future.

On April 22, 130 beneficiaries - mothers with children, seniors, young people found shelter at the #caritasmoldova Refugee Center in Chisinau. Because of the war, they had to take refuge without a source of income for a decent living immediately, they were all waiting for an Easter miracle. The foundation offered love, attention, care in the form of vouchers of 500 lei each.
